The STU-01E is a triggered Microchip Series laser transmitting 266 nm radiation optimized for pulse duration, shorter than 400 ps. This laser produces 266nm pulses which are directly generated from the diode pumped passively Q-switched Nd:YAG microchip engine. A fourth harmonic generation stage produces the 266 nm radiation with a very good lifetime. Pulses can be controlled individually up to 4 kHz. The laser is single longitudinal mode.
Microchip lasers are also easy to operate and service; controllers can be used with every laser head model and swapped within minutes while keeping constant operating parameters.
